Submission
Authors should submit papers electronically by e-mail (see adress below), with two copies of the manuscript; One original copy and one blinded copy with all information that could identify the author removed. The submission should be complete with information about the main author and all co-authors, reference list, figure files and so on. Styled Microsoft Word documents are preferred, but Rich Text Format is also accepted.
Manuscripts
Manuscripts must be typed double-spaced, Times New Roman size 12, in European A4 page size, with approximately 4-cm left- and right-hand margins. Preferred length of manuscripts is 9 000-10 000 words, notes and reference list excluded, but this is not absolute.
Book reviews should be about 1500-2000 words, and should present all neceessary information on the publication. Ibsen Studies will provide reading copies, if necessary.
Ibsen Studies evaluates papers under the strict condition that they are not not under consideration, in press or have been published elsewhere. Permission to reproduce previously published material included in the manuscript must be obtained by the author prior to submission. It is preferred if such statements are included in a covering letter following the manuscript submission. This includes figures, tables or translated material. The transfer of copyright from author(s) to publisher must be stated in writing before any manuscript can be published. Further information about that process will be provided after acceptance of publication.

http://journalauthors.tandf.co.uk/ Title page
The title page must include the following information: full title, affiliation and full addresses of all authors, a running title (maximum 50 characters), and indication of the author responsible for correspondence and correction of proofs.
Sections and headings
Papers should be divided into distinct sections where possible, including Introduction, Conclusion and References. The difference between level 1 and level 2 headings should also be clearly visible.
Notes
Notes should be supplied on separate sheets and numbered consecutively. They will appear at the end of the article.
References
Ibsen Studies use a reference style called 'Chicago Author-Date'. References in the text are indicated by the surname(s) of the author(s), the year of publication and the page number(s) in the parenthesis, for example (Kittang 2002, 201). More details of sources should appear at the end of the manuscript under the caption "References". The sources must be arranged alphabetically, according to the authors' surnames, and this is a few examples of common reference material:
